The Sky Tower

At 328 metres, Sky Tower is the Southern Hemisphere’s tallest building. It has three viewing levels offering amazing 360 degree views of Auckland & the Hauraki Gulf. Located on the Main Observation level are 38 mm glass floor panels. Stand on the glass floors if you dare! At 220 metres Sky Deck offers an amazing views of Auckland through virtually seamless glass. It has an audio- visual display, which takes you on an historical journey from the birth of the volcanoes through to Maori & European settlement to modern day Auckland. The Sky Lounge offers light meals, coffee & drinks. It’s the Southern Hemisphere’s highest café! For the ultimate thrill, plunge 192 metres from the Sky Tower. This is a cable controlled base jump. Participants fly ‘Superman style’. The view is awesome & the experience unforgettable. Air time is approximately 20 seconds as you plummet at approximately 75 km/h. You land gently on your feet, on the landing platform.

The Great Pyramid (146.5m), The Sydney Harbour Bridge (134 m), The Eiffel Tower Main Deck ( 115 m), The Statue of Liberty (93.5m), The Auckland Harbour Bridge (67m) & The Leaning Tower of Pisa (55m).
The Sky Tower is connected with the Sky City, which has 3 casinos, 10 bars & restaurants, shopping centers & a live theatre.
